Dance for PD®
Every Thursday, 10:30 am – 11:45 am at Danspace, 473 Hudson Street, Oakland
Classes combine elements of modern dance, ballet, social dancing and improvisation to create an enjoyable, stimulating, non-pressured artistic experience. Presented in association with Mark Morris Dance Group. Dance classes are offered in two locations and participants may register for either series, space permitting. Hula for PD
Every Monday from 11 am – 12 noon, at the N. Berkeley Senior Ctr, 1901 Hearst Ave, Rm C, 2nd Floor at MLK Jr. Way
A deeply cherished and sacred Hawaiian tradition, hula involves calm, gentle movements of the arms and hands, legs and hips, and is danced to the rhythms of traditional, flowing music.
